Hello crafters! Bug here from @mediocreartsandcrafts. Today I am sharing my NO FOAM NO DIES SHAKER CARD. If you have FOSC (Fear of Shaker Cards) or you are concerned that you don’t have foam tape or the right dies, this is the project for you! This style of card encourages that ‘use what you got’ philosophy. In addition to using Shaker Elements or sequins, you can also fill with small beads, fake snow, or chunky glitter shapes. This style of card is not awesome for fine glitter, but you could try it with what you have on hand and see what looks rad to you!

Directions:
·Cut white cardstock into 9 rectangles 5 ¼”x4”
·For those rectangles, using a ruler, on the 4” side draw a line down the middle at 2”
·Using your circle punch turned upside down, put each sheet of cardstock down into the punch until it stops. Using your line to center it in the middle, punch your hole. Do the same for each piece of cardstock. Set one of these aside as a template.
·Glue these sheets in a stack so that all the sides and holes are as aligned as possible
·Cut your acetate down to 5 ¼”x4” and glue it on top of your stack of cardstock, aligning the sides.
·Choose your favorite piece of design cardstock out of the Under the Sea paper collection and cut to 5 ¼”x4” If there is an orientation, be sure it aligns with your orientation of your card base
·Using the cardstock piece that you set aside as your template, stack up with the design cardstock piece you cut, and help it guide you to punching a hole in the same place. Alternately you could draw a line down the back side of the of and do the same thing you did with the white cardstock.
·Punch a hole out of another piece of designer cardstock for the back of your shaker window.
Center the template on the card base (do not glue down) . Glue the designer card stock circle down in the hole of your template to the card base. Remove template.
·Use an embossing powder tool on the circle of cardstock you just glued down, as well as on the circle window of you acetate, to prevent static.
·Add a water drop onto the circle of cardstock and let it dry for a minute (or more depending on your glue) now pile your sequins in the middle of the cardstock circle.
·Glue down your stack of cardstock with the acetate on top.
·Glue your designer sheet on top of the acetate and embellish with more water drops.
