Cutting guide:

Cut your solid color cardstock at 10×10

(5) matting pieces at 4 ⅞ x 4 ⅞ (these can be smaller to your preference on border size

(1) 4×4 cut apart from the collection

How to:

Start off with you 10×10 cardstock and score on either side at 4. Then you’ll rotate and score at 4 again. You should have 4 equal 5 inch squares.

Fold and smooth out your score lines

On one of the sides, you’ll cut up on the score line only until you meet the middle score line

You’ll take one of the flaps and from the bottom right corner, fold up to meet the score line. You’ll repeat this process to the other flap. But instead the fold the bottom left corner. Make sure you smooth out your folds with a bone folder

On only one of the folded flaps, you’ll cut off the triangle.

With your bearly Arts Glue, you’ll now adhere the smaller triangle to the other flap on top of the outer triangle

Next take the decorative cardstock that you want a your base and cut in on your trimmer at a diagonal. From corner to corner. Be careful of directional cardstock

Then adhere those pieces to the triangular portions.

You can finish off adhering your matting pieces to the rest of your card.

I want to add a sticker sentiment to the base of the triangles. In doing so, I took a 1 in Scallop punch to punch out a circle. Add glue to one side and adhere that glued side to the left of the triangle. Be careful. This card does fold up. So make sure the glue doesn’t go over the folder portion.

Then I added foam tape on the back of my sticker to give it dimension and placed it on the scallop circle.

Now go ahead and decorate it accordingly.

There you have it! I do hope you enjoy making this card and I hope it brightens someone’s day this summer.

Thanks so much and “see” you again soon!
