Happy Christmas in July! Bug here from @mediocreartsandcrafts.

Today I am bringing you a project that makes a great holiday craft fair item. It’s also a big hit when given as an early Christmas gift.

When using decorator paper to make tags, choose pieces that have one side that isn’t too busy, so that your stamps will show up nicely.

The other/back side is best when it has a fun design – just be sure that you have the orientation correct before you stamp.

Directions

· Cut your paper to 4 ¼” x 2 ¾”

· Stamp the tag outline onto your paper.

· Stamp the other images as shown. In the design I used here, I was able to stamp all five of the inner images at once.

· Chomp your holes. Take six inches of ribbon and thread it through the hole from the back. Using about eight inches of twine, lay it across the tag so that it gets stuck beneath the ribbon when you thread the ribbon tails through the loop. Tie twine in a bow.

· Attach one cut apart image to the back of each tag using the amazing tiny paper clips.

· Put reposition adhesive onto your acetate strip. Evenly space tags across the acetate.

· I use a piece of chipboard to help me slide the tags into the bag, and be sure that the tags end up in front of the gusset. Fold over the treat bag and close with some fancy glitter washi.

· Go through the rest of your paper collections and see what else would make fun tags. Match the back of your tags to the different types of gifts you give.
