Recipes for Cards

Double Opening Card

This card uses (24) 3″ x 4″ cut-a-parts… here is the recipe:

(24) card bases that are  4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″  scored at 5 1/2″  the finished card base is an A2

(24) mat pieces cut to 2 1/2″ x 4″

(24) folded focal mats cut to 8 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ scored at 4 1/4″

(24) white mats for the inside

Tall Easel Card

This card uses 4″ x 4″ cut-a-parts- we trim all 40 of them down 1/4″ on all sides to be 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″( see the video for why)… here is the recipe:

(40) card bases, we started with a piece of white card stock measuring 8 1/2″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″ on the 11″ side. Then cut in half at 4 1/4″  for an A2 card base

(40) top easel mat pieces cut to 2 1/2″ x 4 ”

(40) middle easel mat piece cut to 2 1/2″ x 4″

(40) base mat pieces cut to 4″ x 5″

(40) sentiment strip pieces cut to 1 1/2″ x 3″

(40) sentiment strip mat pieces cut to 1 3/4″ x 3 1/4″

(40) cut-a-part mat pieces cut to 3 7/8″ x 37/8″
