As Many As WITH A TWIST! 80 Cards with minimal supplies!

80 Christmas cards!!!! Yes 80!!!!  

Maymay takes 5 different card styles and a few sheets of beautiful Christmas cardstock and creates 80 fabulous cards!!! This is definitely a let the paper do all the work as many as with a twist card making video! 

So gather up those supplies and let’s create 80! Christmas cards!

Paper Used: Echo Park The Magic of Christmas

Stamp Set Used: Holly in Heels

– You will need 12 envelopes and card bases (A2 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”)

– 2 pieces 12×12 Cardstock that coordinate

– Cut as many 1 7/8” x 2 1/2” pieces that you can from both sheets

– Pay attention to directional papers

– Make 4 stacks with 12 in each stack

– Mark each paper according to direction 1 1/4” down and 1 1/4” over and then fold and crease each one

– Once you have marked the 4 templates you will trace and fold each one

– Line up one corner with 1/8” border and then continue gluing others down

– Now that you have one card glued you can start stamping the sentimen

 

Card 2:

Paper Used: Paper Rose B&W Christmas 6×6

Stamp Set Used: Ornamental Greetings

-You need  (7)  A2 (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) card bases

you will have 7 cards, 6 from design and 1 bonus

– Pick 4 patterns – Cut as many as you can 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” squares

– Save the leftover pieces for your bonus card

– You should have 16 of each pattern

– Sort each pile into 2 piles and flip one set of 8 over for each pile to give you 8 different stacks of squares

– Cut a mat to 4” x 5 1/4” (Maymay’s Red)

– You will lay out a pattern that is 3 squares across and 4 squares down

– Start gluing your squares down with 1/16” border

– Continue this with all of your card fronts

– For sentiments use 1 3/4” circle punch and 2” scallop circle and stamp on white with desired sentiment

– Glue card front to card base that is A2 (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”)

– Glue the white circle to the red scallop then use foam to prop up on card front in desired location

you will have 7 cards, 6 from design and 1 bonus

 

 

Card 3:

Paper Used: Echo Park I Love Christmas

Stamp Set Used: Winter Wonderland

– (33) cards from 5 pieces of cardstock

– From 1 piece 12” x 12” cut down to 4” x 12” strips and then cut down to 1” x 4”

– Do this with all 5 pages and you should have 33; 1” x 4” pieces in each color

– Lay out the 1” x 4” strips in pattern that you like and glue down leaving slight border

– For sentiment strip cut ( 33)   1” x 3 1/2” pieces and stamp, ribbon tail

– For green mat cut ( 33)  1 1/4” x 3 3/4” pieces, ribbon tail once you glue the white piece on top

– Pop up the sentiment strip on foam and then stick to edge of card

 

Card 4:

Paper Used: Home for Christmas Carta Bella

Stamp Set Used: Back to Bethlehem

– 16 cards from 1 piece designer cardstock 12”x12”

– 2 pieces of solid 12”x 12” (Maymay used Carta Bella Green)

– Cut the designer strip off of your 12”x 12” designer cardstock

– Cut down to 3”x3” squares, 16 – 3” x 3” squares

– Cut down 2 pieces of 12”x1 2” green cardstock to 3 1/4” x 3 1/4” squares, (16)   3 1/4” x 3 1/4” squares

– Wrap 1/8” ribbon around bottom of designer 3” x 3” square and tape on back

– Add foam tape to back of designer squares prop up on green 3 1/4” squares

– Now that all squares are propped up you can tie bow on front

– Stamp your sentiment on the front of each card base near the bottom as instructed from video and then glue the decorated box to top

 

Card 5:

Paper Used: Celebrate Christmas Echo Park

Stamp Used: Glistening Once Again

– 12 cards from 1 piece designer cardstock

– Cut 12” x 12” designer cardstock down to 6 – 4” x 6” pieces

– Take 1 piece and create a template, mark the top at 4” and the bottom at 2”

– Use trimmer to cut from each mark at a diagonal

– Cut the 12” x 12” solid paper down to 6 – 4” X 6” pieces

– Then duplicate the angle cuts from each designer piece as shown

– When all are cut you will offset the red behind the designer piece to create a border and glue the two together

– Stamp your sentiment in desired spot leaving room for you to glue one layered piece on the from of your A2 (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) card base
